Terms & conditions

The following terms and conditions are valid between you and ICON (Reg. No. 652746) (may be referred to as “us” and “we”) and apply to all use of and orders placed on ICON’s website, and orders made by telephone or e-mail with ICON’s Customer Service team (henceforth together: the “website”). Please note that ICON does not guarantee that all products presented on the website are in stock or are available for purchase. ICON reserves its right to stop selling a product. Orders can only be placed by persons that are eighteen (18) years or older. ICON reserves the right to revise the Terms and Conditions at any time. Users are responsible for keeping themselves updated with such changes. Please note that the Terms and Conditions valid for your order are always the Terms and Conditions that are in effect as of the time that you have placed your order and not a later version. You should keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference.

Article 1 – Prices

The prices of our products sold on are indicated in Euro, including taxes but excluding the cost of postage.

ICON has the right to modify these prices at any time. However, products will be invoiced based on the tariffs in force when the order was placed.

Products remain the property of ICON, up until the completed transaction of any payments are received by ICON.

Products and services sold on are reserved solely for private use (non–trade).

The prices may also vary between the physical store and the website.

Article 2 – Order

ICON has the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute regarding the payment of a previous order.

Please note that products in your shopping bag are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until you have placed the order at checkout and received the order confirmation email. If prolonged inactivity causes your connection to the website to fail, your selection of products may be lost. In such case, you will be required to re-enter your selection of products to the shopping bag.

Article 3 – Validation

You must declare having read and accepted the present Terms and Conditions before placing an order. The validation of your order means you accept these Terms and Conditions.

Please note that all orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. We may, at our discretion, choose not to accept your order for any reason whatsoever without any liability to you. Once the order has been processed, a shipping confirmation e-mail will be sent with all relevant information about your order. The shipping confirmation is our acceptance of your order.

Article 4 – Availability

Please note that ICON does not guarantee that all products presented on the website are in stock at the time of your order. If a product is unavailable, we will contact you shortly, by phone or by e-mail. If we already have received payment for such product we will refund you the amount of the purchase.

Article 5 – Delivery

5.1 – General

At this time, the products bought on are only delivered to countries within the EU, to Switzerland and to Norway. The following countries are members of the European Union: Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus (South Cyprus only).

The time delays indicated when making an order are based on averages. They correspond to the time needed to ship and dispatch the goods. Products are delivered to the address you indicated when ordering. If the address on your order is not correct, ICON is not responsible for failure to deliver your order.

The delivery times do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization and/or stock availability. If ICON fails to deliver within 30 days, you may have the right to cancel the purchase.

When you order several products at once, and when these products have different time delays, the longest time delay is applicable.

ICON has the right to delay shipments. If items are shipped separately, any charges for postage and packing of the order will be invoiced for just one single shipment.

ICON is not responsible for the consequences when there is a longer delay time.

5.2 – Delivery problems

You must inform ICON of any problems regarding the delivered product (e.g. damaged package, opened packages, missing pieces etc.) within 3 days after delivery. Depending on the cases defined in article 12, you may benefit from exchange or refund conditions in this article.

5.3 – Delivery details

Orders are processed from Monday to Friday.

Products are sent by TNT from Belgium.

In all cases the maximum delays vary between one (1) day and one (1) week after receiving the payment and depending on the city or country of destination.

ICON is in no case responsible for delays beyond its control due to a backlog attributable to one of its suppliers.

All items that are out of stock will automatically be deducted from the order.

Article 6 – Payment

All payments will be processed using a secure encrypted procedure to prevent the interception of information provided by the buyer. It will be carried out via the electronic payment system Stripe.

The following payment cards are accepted: credit cards and debit cards. Payment can be made by the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Payment can also be made by the following debit cards: Visa and Maestro. (Maestro and Visa Electron: please check with your bank to make sure your card is valid for online purchases). The purchases made with Visa and Mastercard are verified by a secure code. Please note that your card is debited with the purchase amount once ICON has sent you the order confirmation email.

You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorized by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to ICON, your order will be cancelled. We are not responsible for any charges or penalties which may be imposed by the payment provider as result of payment being processed in respect of your order. At checkout you can chose to save your credit card for future purchases if you are logged in to your ICON account. Your details will be protected using Global Sign Encryption and will speed up your checkout the next time you shop.

Article 7 – Returns & Refund

You are entitled to return your purchase or exchange your product to ICON within 14 days of the date on which you have received the product.

To avoid a deduction, please make sure the product you wish to return is in the exact same condition as when you received it, with tag and seal still attached. All shoes must be used at on a carpeted surface until you have decided to keep them. Shoes and accessories that come in a special box, must be returned in their undamaged original box which is considered to be a part of the product. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.

When a delivery is late, maximum thirty (30) days and the product has been sent, you may cancel your order and request to be refunded for the cost of the product purchased and any return charges. In this case, if you have received the product after your cancellation, we will refund you when we have received the complete product in its original state. All orders that have not been sent within thirty (30) days following the order on will be cancelled unless indicated otherwise. Refund will be done on the account number and invoicing address communicated by the buyer, within thirty (30) days.

The refund is made using the same payment method you used at the purchase and in the same currency as the original purchase.

Please note that ICON only issues a full refund if the product is in the same condition as at the time of delivery. If the product value has diminished due to your handling of the product to a greater extent than is necessary in order to ascertain its characteristics or function, you have an obligation to refund us. Thus, ICON then has the right to withhold such amount of the refund.

To ensure your return is covered by our complimentary return policy, please send it back from the same country it was delivered to. Orders sent back from a different destination may incur additional charges and be delayed in customs.

We prefer that items are returned to us via our own service so that they are protected and insured. You can return using any secure means, but we may not accept liability. Please email if you intend to do this and send your purchase to the following address:

Purchased products are exchangeable into a different size. All exchanges are based on stock availability. Please note that sale products are non-exchangeable but can be returned for a refund.

Article 8 - Resale policy

You may purchase products on for personal use only and not for resale. By placing an order on, you certify that you are purchasing products for your own personal use and not for resale and that you accept the Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to refuse orders for any reason without explanation.

Article 9 - Information on the website

ICON cannot promise that the content of the site is free of inaccuracies or typographical errors. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. ICON may, at any time, amend the content of the site. Although ICON strives to display the correct texts, images and pricing on the online shop, errors may occur. Part of the services provided through the site are maintained by third party operators. In situations where ICON acts as agent for such services, we cannot be held responsible for any errors resulting from their activities. ICON cannot be held responsible for any damage caused from using the site or, for that matter, not being able to use the site. ICON cannot guarantee problem-free, uninterrupted, and secure access to the site.

The website may contain links to other websites beyond our reach. We cannot be held liable for content or privacy policies of such sites.

Article 10 – Security

All orders processed via our website are secured through the payment providers in order to protect any data regarding purchases as efficiently as possible. ICON uses Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders. ICON online shop secures communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. When placing an order, you can immediately check the security validity by clicking the Thawte icon at checkout. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.

Article 12 – Intellectual property

All texts, comments, works, illustrations and images on are protected by author’s rights and European intellectual property law. In accordance with the provisions of the intellectual property law, only private use is authorized, which is subject to different provisions or stricter provisions under intellectual property law. Total or partial reproduction of the site is strictly forbidden.

Anyone wanting to use our logo or brand to promote on their blog, personal site or other media, is welcome to make a written request to

Article 13 - Violation of rules

ICON reserves the right to seek all solutions available at law and in equity for violations of these Terms and Conditions, including the right to block access to the site. Individuals violating the restriction of password-protected areas of the site may be subject to prosecution.

Article 14 – Responsibility

The offered products are conform to Belgian law and norms. ICON is in no case responsible when the legislation of the country where the product is delivered is not respected (e.g. when a product is forbidden…). It is the customer’s responsibility to check the legalities regarding the import and use of a product they want to order with their local authorities.

ICON has no responsibility for indirect damage, losses or costs that could be the result of the purchase and is not responsible for the services provided by third parties with which it works (Stripe and shipping companies).

Article 15 – Guarantee

We commit ourselves to refund or exchange defective goods or goods that do not correspond to your order, in accordance with Article 7 “Returns & Refund”, which specifies the details and procedures for refund.

Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 2 months of purchase. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

If an item received is classified as faulty and was received damaged, you must contact us within three (3) days of receipt.

If your item is faulty when you receive it, you can return it for a refund. Simply request a return through your ICON account and send the faulty goods back to us within 14 days of receiving your order.

If items have a manufacturing fault that occurred within a 2-month time frame after purchase, please contact us immediately.

In all cases, you benefit from the legal guarantees regarding the conformity of the goods with the contract and latent defects, in accordance with the specified legal provisions. The provisions of this article do not prevent you from benefiting from the retraction rights in Article 7.

Article 16 – Applicable law – Disputes

The present contract is subject to Belgian law. In case of disputes, only the Belgian court is competent.

Article 17 – Personal information

Information and data concerning your identity are necessary for managing your order and for our commercial relations. They may be passed on to companies that contribute to these relations, such as companies that execute services and orders, for their management, execution, processing and payment. This information is stored for security reasons in order to comply with legal obligations and rules and in order to allow us to improve and personalize the services we offer and the information we provide.

ICON collects names, addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, nationality and (if applicable) company information (i.e. the company name of your employer) from visitors to the website who register their information or any other online service, such as subscribing to the newsletter.

ICON may also store information regarding your purchases, namely information regarding product and size, and purchase price and date, which will help us improve our services to you and enhance your future purchasing experience with us.

With regards to the Belgian Act dd. 8 December 1992 Act on Privacy Protection regarding personal data, you have the right to access, correct and delete personal details. Write an e-mail to or a letter, mentioning your surname, first names, e-mail address and if possible a customer reference number.

If you have registered to receive newsletters or e-mail updates from us, and you no longer wish to receive these newsletters/e-mail updates, you can unsubscribe as indicated in the particular communication, i.e. by using the unsubscribe link which is included on all newsletters/e-mail updates.

Article 18 - Cookies

Our site has been conceived with the needs of our customers in mind. This is also why we use cookies. Cookies on are only used to improve our personalised service to you. A cookie identifies your computer and allows the site to recall your personal settings. Your browser can be set to send a notification when a cookie is activated.
